World XTL Summit 2009

The annual gathering of the XTL community bolstered enthusiasm for gas, coal and biomass to liquids.

With its lively discussion and informative presentations this year’s World XTL Summit focused on ways of turning the challenges into opportunities to drive forward XTL growth.

We heard valuable updates on Oryx and Pearl from the industry pioneers and exciting new technologies were revealed by the leading innovators.

The new interactive panel discussions proved to be particularly popular, providing the opportunity for useful debate on key issues facing the industry today: economics, carbon constraints and end-use.   Representatives from Qatar Airways, Volkswagen, EC DG TREN, AC Transit and Star Alliance added an important dimension to the discussion. Fresh perspectives on BTL and CTL concluded the extremely interesting programme.

"Great organisation, great platform for effective networking"

Sascha Vukojevic, HTE

We would like to thank all our distinguished speakers, sponsors, and delegates for their enthusiastic participation and for making the Ninth World XTL Summit such a success.
